Headed to the sea bass grounds and first drop...KEEPER!. Managed to land at least 5 keepers giving to those weeding through the shorts. What an awesome bite, must have caught 50 fish before 10 am with double and triple headers of shorts. After limiting the boat on sea bass, made the move to the deep. Landed ~ 12 ling. Had a hit, crap stuck in the wreck and I had a fish that was stuck.
After working it out with the help of the mate, I had something big! Got a really nice purple hake, one of two on the boat today with a bigger cod taking the cool. Everyone had a big bag of filets to take home.
Great day on the water with a great crew.
